Proofreading: I will read your book, looking for typos, grammar errors, repetitive wording, and awkward writing, helping you improve the readability of your prose. Feedback will be sent to you in a copy of your document with track changes and comments for recommended changes.
$0.002 per word.
GiraffeCraft Critique: I will read your book for the broader weaknesses of your story. Feedback will be sent in an email containing a list of what is holding you back and suggestions of what can be changed to make your story stronger.
$25 per 50,000 words, with a minimum rate starting at $10.
Cover Design: $25 ebook-only. $40 ebook + paperback. I don't currently offer hardcover. If you would like images that aren't offered by Pixabay or Deposit Photos, the price may be higher, including if I need to buy props to create my own image (which I have done) or if I need to purchase a font that I don't already own. Please see my portfolio at the bottom for my past designs. I will not use images of actual people off of Pixabay as the rights there are dicy, and my style is more artistic, besides.
Paperback Formatting:
If I did your cover, $10, up to ten chapters.
If I did not do your cover, $20 up to ten chapters.
Each additional chapter over ten is $0.50.
Basic ebook formatting is included, but it is an extra $10 if you would like me to link a table of contents and you have over fifteen chapters.
My interiors aren't fancy, but they will look professional and I try to match cover fonts. If I did not do your cover and your cover font is not in my collection or available for less than $5, I will ask that you ask your cover designer for a .png of your title with a transparent background.
I will not edit sex scenes or books with excessive language, nor will I design explicit covers. I reserve the right to reject any project for any reason.
